SANGPUY
Sangpuy Katatepan Mavaliyw is a member of the Pinuyumayan (Austronesian) people of Katratripulr, Taitung, Taiwan. In 2017, he won three major awards in the Golden Melody Awards, namely the Best Aboriginal Singer, Best Vocal Recording Album, and the Best Album Of The Year (Among All Languages). His album Yaangad garnered the following awards: Top 10 Albums 2017 (Taiwan Musician Association), The 60th Global Music Awards Gold Medal Winner (USA), The 16th Independent Music Awards, and The Best World Traditional Music (USA).
